About

The livestrong foundation (the "foundation") is a national nonprofit organization, headquartered in austin, texas, dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by cancer from the point of diagnosis through their entire cancer journey. Since inception 1997, the foundation has been a voice for cancer survivors and has supported more than 10.9 million people. The foundation is focused on searching for the most overlooked problems in cancer care and then finding and funding solutions that CAN help people right AWAY. The foundation accomplishes this in three ways: through its survivorship programs, its collaborative partnerships with community and grassroots organizations, and its solution grants program finding innovative solutions to the everyday problems faced by cancer patients and their families.
