The purposes of the club are the establishment and maintenance of suitable grounds for the encouragement of athletic exercises and sports, especially for the playing, advancement, and cultivation of the royal and ancient game of GOLF, and for the maintenance of a clubhouse with suitable appointments and accessories for the use of club members and their guests.
