About

To empower individuals to strive for independence, self-sufficiency, community integration while providing them with an opportunity to move toward a more independent living situation, through shared living. Turning point develops residential programs that support the needs of developmentally and intellectually disabled individuals by promoting independence through community inclusion and support for daily life activities. Turning point began in 1971, with an annual operating budget of $50k and today, it is at just over $20m annually. We have over 30 locations that serve over 150 individuals. Our local judges are proud to praise us around the work we do with our behaviorally challenged individuals.
