To aid, support, and promote teaching, research, and service in the various educational, scientific, scholarly, professional, artistic, and creative endeavors of the university of north carolina through means such as the enhancement of the quality of supporting staff, services, and facilities of the university; the support of research, scholarly, artistic, and creative work of the university; and the support of public service activities of the university.b. To solicit, acquire, receive, hold, invest, reinvest, sell, transfer, exchange, administer, and manage property of ALL kinds for the benefit of the university of north carolina.c. To do ANY and ALL ACTS and things that may be deemed desirable or expedient for the benefit of the university of north carolina, its programs, and its faculty, staff, and students.
