Virginia home for BOYS and girls (VHBG) is a nonprofit organization that has been serving young people in crisis since 1846. VHBG's mission is to create safe, stable, and inclusive spaces where young people CAN FEEL connected to build meaningful relationships, empowered to develop vital skills, and equipped to navigate life and experience personal success. With a commitment to excellence, VHBG offers three CORE program areas to youth with emotional and behavioral health concerns, including transitional living services (group care services and independent living programs), specialized education, and therapeutic resources. The trauma-informed care VHBG's programs provide restores hope to youth and their families, who then find the courage to thrive.
