Wisconsin lutheran college is an independent, nationally ranked christian liberal arts college that serves over 1,100 traditional, adult degree completion and graduate students. WLC prepares students for lives of christian leadership and has been recognized for its academic excellence and superior student experience. Christian faculty work directly with students who benefit from numerous research, service, and CO-curricular opportunities designed to enhance academic and spiritual growth within a nurturing and caring environment. WLC's mission is to provide its students an education rooted in the liberal arts while aligning with the theological foundation of its conference of congregations and the wisconsin evangelical lutheran synod. Four of the past five academic years have seen the highest number of freshmen enrolled in the college, and the college is housing more students than ever before. Over the past five years, wisconsin lutheran college has grown undergraduate enrollment by 12%.
