David Martin is a Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing District 68 since January 2023. Born May 12, 1961, he was first elected to the Michigan House from the 48th district in 2020, defeating incumbent Sheryl Kennedy, and was reelected in 2024 after redistricting placed him in the 68th district. Before serving in the legislature, Martin was a member of the Davison City Council and worked as director of Security and Facilities at the Pontiac Silverdome.
