Software Accuracy and Fraud Evaluation Rating Act or the SAFE Rating Act - Requires the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to study the video and computer game rating system of the Entertainment Software Rating Board that was adopted by the video game industry to determine if that system: (1) accurately characterizes video game content; or (2) constitutes an unfair or deceptive act or practice affecting parents and other consumers in making purchasing decisions.
Requires the FTC, if such rating system is determined to constitute an unfair or deceptive act or practice, to conduct a hearing and issue and serve a complaint against any persons, partnerships, or corporations that have used or are using such system.
