Amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to extend to April 30, 2002, the deadline by which certain immigrant petitions or applications for labor certifications must be filed in order to allow beneficiaries of such petitions or applications to apply for adjustment of status.
Makes this Act retroactively applicable as if enacted as part of the Legal Immigration Family Equity Act (signed into law on December 21, 2000).
