Referred to the Committee on House Administration, and in addition to the Committee on Government Reform, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
Reduces the rate of pay for each Member of Congress for service performed during the 110th Congress by 5% of the rate of pay for such position as of December 31, 2006.
Subjects the rate, after such Congress, to adjustment to the same extent and in the same manner as if the rate determined for such position (after rounding in accordance with this Act) had been determined under the Legislative Reorganization Act of 1946.
