(Describes Cushing's Syndrome as an endocrine or hormonal disorder that is caused by prolonged exposure of the body's tissue to high levels of the hormone cortisol and that can cause abnormal weight gain, skin changes, and fatigue and lead to diabetes, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, and death.)
