Recognizes the suffering of both Israelis and Palestinians and acknowledges the sacrifices made for peace by the Israeli settlers who left the Gaza Strip voluntarily. Honors the courage of: (1) Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon; (2) Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas; (3) Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak; (4) Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan; (5) Pakistani President Pervez Musharaf; and (6) King Abdullah of Jordan. Commends the efforts of James D. Wolfensohn to secure a viable economy for the Palestinians of the Gaza Strip. Urges: (1) international lenders to invest in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip; (2) the President and the Secretary of State to support the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian cooperation and to encourage resumption of peace negotiations; and (3) all peace-loving nations to advocate and support the "two-state"solution.
