Commemorates the 30th anniversary of the date of April 25, 1976, when Rick Monday, who played centerfield for the Chicago Cubs at the game between the Cubs and the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium, heroically rescued the American flag from being desecrated. Recognizes Rick Monday for his courage and patriotism, upholding the noble ideals and freedoms represented by the American flag, and honoring the men and women whose sacrifices have protected those ideals and freedoms.
