Calls upon: (1) the Government of Cambodia to release Cheam Channy; (2) the Cambodian National Assembly to reverse its action to strip the immunity of opposition parliamentarians Sam Rainsy, Cheam Channy, and Chea Poch; (3) the Secretary of State to impose visa restrictions on Cambodian National Assembly members and their families who voted to strip the immunity of Sam Rainsy, Cheam Channy, and Chea Pok; and (4) Prime Minister Hun Sen and Cambodian National Assembly President Norodom Ranariddh to cease their efforts to undermine democracy and human rights in Cambodia. Urges international condemnation of, and imposition of sanctions on, the Government of Cambodia until it reverses such actions.
