Recognizes the progress made by the people of Ukraine in establishing democratic institutions and carrying out elections on January 17, 2010, and on February 7, 2010.
Encourages all parties to respect Ukraine's independence and territorial sovereignty as well as its integration into the international democratic community.
Pledges support for the development of a free democratic system and a free market economy in Ukraine.
Reaffirms the Senate's commitment to engage the government of Ukraine in further development of bilateral cooperation through the United States-Ukraine Strategic Partnership Commission.
