Supports the goals of World Tuberculosis Day to raise awareness about tuberculosis. Commends the progress made by anti-tuberculosis programs, including the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. Reaffirms the commitment of the House of Representatives to global tuberculosis control through the Lantos-Hyde U.S. Leadership Against HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria Act of 2008.
