To amend title 49, United States Code, to make modifications with respect to the board of directors of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, and for other purposes.
Revises membership requirements for and increases to 17 the number of members on the board of directors of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA), including an additional 4 members appointed by the Governor of Virginia.
Declares that members of the board serve at the pleasure of their appointers. Limits members to one term.
Increases from 8 to 9 the number of votes required to approve bond issues and the annual budget.
