UNANIMOUS CONSENT REQUEST - Ms. Waters asked unanimous consent that she may hereafter be considered as the first sponsor of H.R. 1508, a measure originally introduced by Representative Edward J. Markey of Massachusetts, for the purposes of adding cosponsors and requesting reprintings pursuant to clause 7 of Rule XII. Agreed to without objection.
Directs the United States Postal Service (USPS) to issue and sell an Alzheimer's Disease Research Semipostal Stamp.
Requires proceeds from the sale of the stamp to be transferred to the National Institutes of Health.
Requires the stamp to be made available to the public for six years.
