(This measure has not been amended since it was passed by the House on September 12, 2016. The summary of that version is repeated here.) (Sec. 1) This bill authorizes the American Battle Monuments Commission to enter into an agreement with the Lafayette Escadrille Memorial Foundation to acquire, operate, and maintain the Lafayette Escadrille Memorial in Marnes-la-Coquette, France. The Commission shall ensure the ongoing maintenance of the memorial, including the cemetery containing the remains of 49 U.S. aviators who died during World War I.
