Florida Shores Protection and Fairness Act
This bill amends the Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act of 2006 to include Florida in the Gulf of Mexico Outer Continental Shelf revenue sharing program.(Currently, only Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas are included in the program.)
Additionally, the bill extends the moratorium on oil and gas leasing to June 30, 2027, in certain areas of the Gulf of Mexico.
