Social Security Travel Reimbursement Reform Act of 2017
This bill removes representatives of claimants for Old Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance benefits from the list of individuals for whom certain travel expenses must be reimbursed using Social Security trust funds. The Social Security Administration may authorize such a representative's travel expenses to instead be reimbursed by the claimant.
