First Step Act of 2018
This bill makes changes to various aspects of the criminal justice system.
Among other things, the bill does the following:
modifies federal sentencing provisions, establishes a risk and needs assessment system at the Bureau of Prisons, and reauthorizes the Second Chance Act of 2007.
