Opioid Immediate Suspension Order Act of 2017
This bill amends the Controlled Substances Act to eliminate the provision that defines the phrase "imminent danger to the public health and safety." Under current law, the Drug Enforcement Administration may immediately suspend the registration of a controlled substances manufacturer, distributor, or dispenser to prevent imminent danger to the public health and safety.
