Preventing Iranian Destabilization of Iraq Act of 2017
This bill imposes property-blocking and U.S. entry/visa sanctions until January 1, 2022, against any foreign person or entity that:
has knowingly committed, or poses a significant risk of committing, violence that threatens Iraq's stability or that undermines its economic reconstruction and political reform; has knowingly assisted, or provided financial, material, or technological support for any such activity; or is owned or controlled by, or has acted on behalf of, a foreign person that has carried out any such activity.
