Establishing a Humane Immigration Enforcement System Act
This bill abolishes the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) no later than one year after enactment.
Congress must establish and convene the Commission to Study and Establish a Fair and Human System of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The commission's duties shall include identifying all essential functions of ICE and ensuring that all immigration enforcement functions transferred to other agencies maintain strict compliance to the Constitution and applicable laws.
