To amend the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 to increase the minimum amount made available to territories under the Sexual Assault Services Program, and for other purposes.
This bill amends the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 to modify the formula used to allocate base formula grants under the Sexual Assault Services Program.
Specifically, it increases from .25% to .50% the percentage of program funds awarded as a base formula grant to the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands.
