This bill provides statutory authority for Executive Order 13653, which set forth strategies to enhance climate preparedness and resilience. It also established an interagency Council on Climate Preparedness and Resilience as well a State, Local, and Tribal Leaders Task Force on Climate Preparedness and Resilience.
