The resolution
calls on allies to uphold NATO's founding principles by strengthening democratic institutions, respecting individual liberty, and reinforcing the rule of law; supports allies' continued progress towards a shared funding commitment; and supports existing requirements for U.S. participation in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
