A bill to amend the Controlled Substances Act to require physicians and other prescribers of controlled substances to complete training on treating and managing patients with opioid and other substance use disorders, which shall also satisfy certain training requirements to receive a waiver for dispensing narcotic drugs for maintenance or detoxification treatment, and for other purposes.
