Smaller Class Sizes for Students and Educators Act of 2019
This bill directs the Department of Education to award grants for local educational agencies in high-poverty school districts to reduce class sizes in the early elementary grades (kindergarten through third grade) by recruiting, training, and hiring qualified teachers.
