This resolution declares that (1) the House of Representatives has heard with profound sorrow of the death of the Honorable Elijah E. Cummings, a Representative of Maryland; and (2) when the House adjourns on October 17, 2019, it adjourn as a further mark of respect to the memory of the deceased.
