To provide first-time, low-level, nonviolent simple possession offenders an opportunity to expunge that conviction after successful completion of court-imposed probation.
Kenneth P. Thompson Begin Again Act
This bill permits the expungement of certain records concerning first-time drug possession offenses that were committed at any age. Under current law, only individuals who committed these offenses before age 21 may apply to have their records expunged.
