To amend section 7 of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 to ensure appropriate compensation for certain hours of overtime work by border patrol agents.
Border Patrol Pay Security Act of 2022
This bill changes how border patrol agents receive overtime pay when working up to 100 hours in a two-week period. For hours worked above 80, an agent is compensated at a rate of at least 150% of the agent's regular hourly rate.
