To amend title 18, United States Code, to clarify the authority of United States Postal Service police officers to protect Postal Service mail, employees, and property outside of property owned or occupied by the Postal Service, and for other purposes.
Postal Police Authority Clarifying Act
This bill specifies that U.S. Postal Service (USPS) police officers have the authority to protect mail, USPS property, and USPS employees.
