To fund these activities, the bill uses existing SBA appropriations rather than requesting new money, and requires implementation within 180 days of enactment. Additionally, the bill directs a joint study on how COVID-19 pandemic-related online business expansions affected small business cybersecurity vulnerabilities and what federal resources and support small businesses need to better defend themselves.
