Finally, the bill designates approximately 736,188 acres in Clark and Lincoln Counties as the Southern Paiute Wilderness, protecting it from mining, mineral leasing, and new water development projects while preserving military overflights and allowing wildlife management activities. The bill requires the Interior Department to submit a report on a cooperative agreement with Nevada within 180 days of enactment.
