The Temporary Family Visitation Act creates a new type of short-term visa that allows foreign relatives of U.S. citizens and permanent residents to visit the United States for family purposes. The visa would be available to spouses, children, parents, grandparents, siblings, and other relatives, and would permit stays of up to 90 days per calendar year.
