This bill amends the Older Americans Act to ensure LGBTQI older adults receive equal treatment and access to aging services. It establishes an Office of LGBTQI Inclusion within the Administration on Aging, led by a Director and Assistant Director responsible for coordinating services, conducting research, and advocating for LGBTQI seniors' needs across federal agencies. The legislation also creates a National Resource Center on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex Aging to provide training and technical assistance to both aging services and LGBTQI organizations, with guaranteed annual funding at least equal to current levels. Additionally, the bill requires the government to collect data on discrimination against LGBTQI individuals in long-term care settings and expands grant opportunities for organizations serving this population. The Director must report to Congress every five years on progress made under these new provisions.
