To amend the 21st Century Cures Act to expressly authorize the use of certain grants to implement substance use disorder and overdose prevention activities with respect to fentanyl and xylazine test strips.
Test Strip Access Act of 2023
This bill specifically allows state and tribal opioid response grants, which are administered by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, to be used for fentanyl or xylazine test strips.
