The Primary Care Team Education Centers Act establishes a new federal grant program to create and expand primary care education centers that train the next generation of health professionals in community-based ambulatory care settings. The bill authorizes ten million dollars for fiscal year 2025, increasing to twenty-five million in 2026 and fifty million in 2027, with continued funding authorized thereafter. Recipients of this new program cannot simultaneously receive funding from other similar federal teaching health center grants, ensuring funds are directed efficiently.
