The Building Civic Bridges Act establishes a new Office of Civic Bridgebuilding within the Corporation for National and Community Service to promote activities that reduce political polarization and increase social cohesion across divided communities. After the initial pilot period, the Government Accountability Office must report to Congress on the effectiveness of the program, with the option to extend the initiative for additional three-year periods.
