This bill directs the Secretary of the Interior to transfer approximately 31.1 acres of federal land in Mesa County, Colorado to the county government. The land transfer must occur as soon as practical after the bill becomes law and is subject to any valid existing rights on the property. The federal government will conduct an independent appraisal following standard appraisal practices to determine the fair market value, which Mesa County must pay to acquire the land. The federal government will cover all costs associated with the conveyance except for survey costs, which Mesa County must pay. Any proceeds from the sale will be deposited into the Federal Land Disposal Account and made available for use under the Federal Land Transaction Facilitation Act.
