The VA must submit an initial report within six months of the law's enactment, then annually thereafter, detailing participation numbers, cost savings, and hiring outcomes, with copies distributed to all federal agencies. The Agriculture Department must brief Congress within 60 days on how the pilot program will reduce veteran unemployment and submit a final report within 30 days of the program's completion measuring how many veterans were hired and transitioned to permanent federal positions.
