Within 180 days of enactment, the Secretary must submit a report analyzing whether assignment incentive pay would help address financial stress caused by long daily commutes, the demanding nature of drone operations, and limited access to childcare, housing, and healthcare near the base. Additionally, the Air Force must work with the Defense Health Agency to conduct a behavioral health study examining the unique psychological and occupational pressures affecting both airmen and their families at Creech, and recommend ways to improve their quality of life and resilience. The legislation contains no specific funding authorization or appropriations but requires Congress to receive both reports within six months so lawmakers can consider whether additional compensation or support services are needed for this specialized military workforce.
