The bill would fund the program starting at seven million dollars in fiscal year 2024 and increasing incrementally to fifteen million dollars by 2028, with each state-level protection and advocacy system guaranteed a minimum grant of $110,000 per year. All grant-receiving organizations would be required to submit annual reports to the Attorney General documenting their services, and the minimum grant amounts would be adjusted annually for inflation beginning in October 2024.
