This bill transfers approximately 1,082.63 acres of federal land in Washington State from Olympic National Park to the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe, placing it in trust for the tribe's benefit and making it part of their reservation. The land transfer is subject to all existing valid federal rights and includes a portion of the Elwha River that will continue to be managed according to the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act and the Elwha River Ecosystem and Fisheries Restoration Act. The transferred land cannot be used for gaming or gambling purposes under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, and the bill requires the Department of Interior to conduct a survey to officially define the land boundaries and make any necessary minor adjustments.
