The Air America Act of 2023 provides one-time payment awards of $40,000 to former employees of Air America and affiliated companies who worked for the CIA between 1950 and 1976, or to their survivors. Claimants have two years from the establishment of regulations to file their claims, and the Director must report to Congress every six months on the status of payments and any remaining claims that exceed available funding.
