The bill then requires these companies to submit detailed reports to the Attorney General three times per year documenting violations, enforcement actions, and trends related to terrorist-designated content, with the first report due within a year and subsequent reports due January 31, April 30, and October 31 annually. Social media companies that fail to comply face civil penalties of up to $5 million per violation per day, while the Attorney General must publish all reports in a searchable public database. The bill also requires intelligence and oversight reports from the Director of National Intelligence and the Comptroller General, and the law automatically expires five years after enactment.
