This bill directs the Secretary of the Army to transfer approximately 11.85 acres of federal land associated with Dillard Road at Patoka Lake in Crawford County, Indiana, to the State of Indiana at no cost. The transfer will be made through a quitclaim deed, meaning the federal government transfers whatever rights it has without guaranteeing the condition or title of the property. The Army will cover all administrative costs for the conveyance, but Indiana must agree to accept full liability for any activities or issues that occur on the land after the transfer takes effect. If Indiana declines to accept the land, the Army can dispose of it through standard federal property disposal procedures. The bill contains standard protections for federal interests and applies an exemption to normal federal property screening requirements.
