This bill directs the Secretary of the Interior to transfer approximately 7,167 acres of federal land managed by the Bureau of Land Management in Sandoval County, New Mexico, into trust status for the San Felipe Pueblo. The land transfer directly benefits the San Felipe Pueblo, a Native American tribe in New Mexico, by placing the property under tribal control and management. The bill includes several conditions on the transferred land, including maintaining perpetual easements for road access to a private inholding and allowing other federally recognized tribes to access the land for cultural and religious practices, while requiring the Pueblo to maintain the access road to the same standards as the Bureau of Land Management previously did. Existing grazing leases and permits on the land may continue through the end of their current terms under the same conditions. The transferred land is explicitly prohibited from being used for any form of gaming under federal Indian gaming law.
